The Macao Orchestra (OM), under the Cultural Affairs Bureau, visited Pui Ching Middle School, Ilha Verde Primary School and the St. Joseph Diocesan College No. 5 (English Section) to present a series of school concerts entitled "Music in Campus”, interpreting folk music from various countries to more than 1,500 teachers and students in primary schools and kindergartens to allow students to get closer to and develop an interest in music.

The inauguration ceremony of the “2018 Macao International Museum Day Carnival” will be held on Sunday, 13 May, at 3pm, at the Taipa Houses, and will be attended by representatives of in the Department of Culture of Guangdong Province, the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong S.A.R. Government and its subsidiary museums.

Excellent performances by the Music Group Macau, the Children’s Choir of the Macao Cultural Centre and the Macao Orchestra were also presented.

According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) rose while those of commercial real estate loans (CRELs) decreased in March 2018. With regard to the outstanding balance, RMLs witnessed a slight monthly increase whereas CRELs remained virtually unchanged.
