According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) and commercial real estate loans (CRELs) both fell in July 2019. With regard to the outstanding balances, RMLs increased whereas CRELs witnessed a decrease.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will carry out renovation works in the Senado Library, located at the IAM Building at No.163 Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, from 16 September (Monday). The renovation works, including the repaint of the interior walls and the replacement of power supply and air-conditioning equipments, are estimated to be completed by January 2020.
