In order to promote the development of sports industry, to create a platform that combines sports, tourism and cultural creativity for promoting major sporting events and to enrich the entertainment experience for tourists and residents, the Sports Bureau organized various annual major sporting events with the objective of positioning Macao as a sport tourism city.

Consumer Council conducted its latest ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 25 April for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included 12 supermarkets in Taipa and Coloane area.

Consumer Council conducts questionnaire on destination wedding photography

The Consumer Council conducted a questionnaire on the terms and conditions of companies offering destination wedding photography services, it is found that photography companies have various procedures and charges when provided services not included in the contract, such as over-time photo taking. Consumers are suggested to peruse all contract terms and keep in mind that oral contract is not enforceable, and that all requests by consumers and all transaction details must be clearly stated in a written contract to avoid any dispute.

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) kicked-off today (April 23) its annual major promotion in Korea, this year featuring a “Macao Street” in Seoul, showcasing the city’s heritage, gastronomy and signature events, to attract more Koreans to visit Macao. Travel marts in Seoul and Busan are also being held in tandem with the promotion, to enhance relations between Macao and Korea tourism operators, further developing Macao’s top international visitor source market.

Consumer Council conducted its latest ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 23 April for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included supermarkets at Lam Mau, Patane and San Kio areas in Santo António Parish.
