The Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Science Technology Industrial Park held a "Guidance Course for Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Qualification Exam"

In order to facilitate the TCM physicians (practitioners) in Macao to learn about the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Qualification Exam of Mainland China, by broadening the scope of their fields of specialization and practice, and further improve their professional competences, the Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as the “Industrial Park”) held a "Guidance Course for Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Qualification Examination " from 14 to 15 of April, at the Industrial Park. A team of professors and experts were invited to deliver presentations on the details of the program and preparation for the exam. The Course has attracted approximately 10 TCM registered physicians from Macao.




Consumer Council released latest ‘Supermarket price survey’ Surveyed spots included supermarkets in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish

Consumer Council conducted its third ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 16 April for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included 13 supermarkets in Toi San, Ilha Verde and Fai Chi Kei areas in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish.


CE to attend Legislative Assembly meeting tomorrow

The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will attend a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly tomorrow (17 April) to answer Assembly members’ questions on Government policy and social issues.




Further effort fostering Macao’s competitiveness in tourism

The Government closely monitors the possible impact on Macao of public policy introduced in various regions, regarding development of the gaming industry, said the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Leong Vai Tac.


“Macao Library Week” opening ceremony to be held on Saturday

Jointly organised by the Macao Public Library of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, the University of Macau Library and the Macao Library and Information Management Association, the “2018 Macao Library Week” will be inaugurated on Saturday, 21 April, at 10:30am, at the Old Court Building. A number of activities, including a charity sale of archived periodicals, book exchange, Bookcrossing, thematic talks, exhibitions, reading accessories workshops and reading game booths, among others, will also be held during the promotional days of the “Macao Library Week” on 21 and 22 April, while a charity sale of archived periodicals and Bookcrossing will also be held at the Taipa Library and the Centre of Permanent Education of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, open to the general public.
