Macao Museum continues to optimize services and facilities and offers a rich and quality experience

The Macao Museum celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. In order to offer the public an even richer and higher quality experience, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Museum plans to implement optimization and improvement measures at different levels, including the renovation of the exhibition areas, the organization of special exhibitions of donated objects, the expansion of guided tour services and the launch of the first realistic guided tour mobile application that combines AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) interactive technologies.

Consumer Council conducted its ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 12 April for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included supermarkets near Areia Preta, Mong Há and Avenida de Venceslau de Morais in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish.






DSEC Director conversed with UM students

In order to facilitate communication and interaction with local youth, the Director of the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC), Ieong Meng Chao, gave a talk at the University of Macau (UM) to over 60 students majoring in Business Administration on 10 April. The event “A Dialogue between Students and Director of Statistics and Census Service: Let the Numbers Speak” was held with a view to increasing students’ interest in statistics and to promoting interpretation and application of statistical data in a scientific and objective manner.


DSI first introduced round-the-clock self-service application for Certificate of Criminal Record at self-service station at Seac Pai Van in Coloane

The Identification Services Bureau (hereinafter called DSI) further extends the service time and service location of self-service application in line with the development of the electronic administration of the Special Administration Region Government. DSI started to introduce round-the-clock self-service application for the Certificate of Criminal Record at the self-service station at Seac Pai Van in Coloane on 12 April 2018, so as to provide convenience for Macao residents to lodge application outside office hours.


Rosário gives talk on infrastructure development at UM

The University of Macau (UM) and the Secretariat for Transport and Public Works today (11 April) held a lecture titled ‘A Dialogue between Young People and the Secretary on the Infrastructure Development in Macao’. Raimundo Arrais do Rosário, secretary for transport and public works of the Macao SAR government, was the keynote speaker.
