Macao Museum of Art holds an exhibition of cultural relics of the Palace Museum with special promotions on exquisite catalogues and souvenirs

The Macao Museum of Art (MAM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, will present the exhibition “The Long Journey: The Forbidden City and Maritime Silk Road” on 18 December, which is the largest and the most comprehensive exhibition of cultural relics of the Palace Museum in the past 20 years with the latest digital interactive technology in Macao. The exhibition features different exhibits in different forms displayed on three floors of MAM, allowing the audience to explore the spectacular history of the exchange between China and the world. In order to prepare the venue for the exhibition, the exhibition spaces in MAM will be alternately closed temporarily from 19 November to 17 December.





MGTO holds destination presentation seminar in Hainan Joining Macao’s travel trade to deepen exchange and cooperation with Hainan

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) held a destination presentation seminar in Haikou, Hainan on 22November and participated in the “2019 Hainan International Tourism Island Carnival” and other activities together with industry delegates from Macao to update their counterparts in Hainan on Macao’s tourism trends and resources, deepening exchange and cooperation between the travel trade from Hainan and Macao.


Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum inaugurated celebrating the 20th anniversary of Macao’s Handover

In commemoration of the great Macao-born musician Xian Xinghai and in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Macao’s handover to China, the Macao SAR Government has established the Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum to honour his contributions to the nation, promote his musical achievements and set him as a role model for young people. The opening ceremony of the Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum was held 23 November, at 11am, with the unveiling of the bronze statue of the musician. The Museum will be open to the public from 24 November, showcasing priceless manuscripts and belongings of the musician. All are welcome to visit.





The University of Macau, Faculty of Business Administration, achieves the prestigious AMBA accreditation

The University of Macau, Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), has officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education. It is the first and only educational institution in Macao to receive this accolade.
