AACM organizes talk and site visit for secondary students to educate them with Macao’s aviation
To cope with the Macao SAR Government’s 2018 policy address in developing the youth project, the Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) worked in hand with Air Macau Company Limited to organize a talk for a group of Form 5 students from Luso-Chinesa Técnico Profissional School this afternoon with the objective of educating the students with a general picture of Macao’s aviation and giving them an opportunity to visit the operational facilities of Air Macau. The activity has helped the students to get a deeper understanding of the development of the industry in Macao. The visitors were active in the question and answer session and the interaction between the speakers and the visitors was good.

Consumer Council released specific price survey results on diapers, OTC drugs, and milk powder
Consumer Council conducted its specific price survey on diapers, over-the-counter drugs, and milk powder on 22 March for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Results of the mentioned survey has been uploaded to the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo), it is also available on the Council’s ‘Supermarket Price Information Platform’ iPhone and Android apps, as well as on the Council’s WeChat account page.

Statistics of Investment Residency Applications in 2017
In 2017, a total of 308 applications for temporary residency for managerial personnel, technical and professional qualification holders were received by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) (an increase of 3 compared with last year), 23 applications for major investment and major investment plans (a decrease of 1 compared with last year), representing 93.05% and 6.95% of the total of 331 new applications in 2017. Approved cases for managerial personnel, technical and professional qualification holders amounted to 231 (an increase of 132 compared with last year), involving sectors such as education, hotel and tourist complex, gaming, construction and finance. There were a total of 10 approved applications for major investment and major investment plans, marking an increase of 6 as compared with last year.
29th Macao Arts Festival offers additional performances of several shows due to public demand
The 29th Macao Arts Festival (MAF), organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), will be held from 27 April to 31 May. Considering the public’s overwhelming response, additional performances will be offered for the most sought-after shows Sunset at the Shipyards, Migration, Sponge and When All Was Green, which will be on sale from 10am on 25 March (Sunday) at the Macau Ticketing Network outlets. Tickets may also be purchased through the internet or by telephone. Tickets are limited and subject to availability.
