The year 2020 is a new historical starting point for the Macao SAR. The problem of how to meet the new opportunities and respond to the new challenges in the new era, and how to understand and implement the “one country, two systems” policy in a more comprehensive and accurate manner requires not only a conscientious summary of Macao’s past experience in the practice of “one country, two systems” policy, but also a deliberate analysis of the future prospects of “one country, two systems” in Macao. It is necessary to examine and analyze how Macao continues to advance the development of “one country, two systems” from the perspective of public administration, as well as how Macao continues to deepen the connotation of “one country, two systems” from the perspective of law.

Updated rules for patrons entering Macao’s casinos and hotels
People wishing to visit Macao casinos will be required to provide a nucleic acid test certificate proving freedom from COVID-19 infection, in addition to the existing requirements of undergoing a body-temperature check, and presenting a valid ‘green’ Macao Health Code result.
