CTT Macau launches the Appointment Booking Service for “Online Reservation for Registration of Electronic Certificate”

To provide better services, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau launches the Appointment Booking Service for “Online reservation for registration of Electronic Certificate” effective from 29th December 2017. By using eSignTrust Online Appointment Booking System (https://www.esigntrust.com), applicants can make an appointment at their preferred time to register for Electronic Certificate.


CTT introduces “e-Advice” Service

CTT Macau is going to launch “e-Advice” Service on 28th Dec 2017. The recipient who registered SEPBox Service will have the option to receive electronic version of Delivery Advice of EMS items or Parcels and the related information.



IC announces candidates selected for the “2016 Support Programme for the Production of Feature Films”

The second review of the “2016 Support Programme for the Production of Feature Films”, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), was completed and a total of four entrants were selected as eligible candidates of the Programme. IC will grant each eligible candidate a subsidy of up to MOP1,500,000 for the production, marketing and promotion of the selected feature films.


Submission of works for Photography Contest “Macao International Parade” ends on 30th December

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the 2017 Macao International Parade in celebration of the 18th anniversary of Macao’s Handover to China was successfully held on 17th December. In order to encourage a more active participation of the public in local cultural events, a photography contest for the “2017 Macao International Parade” has been organised by the IC and co-organised by Easy Photography Association, offering a platform of exchange and mutual learning to photography aficionados while inviting citizens to share the memorable moments captured throughout the parade.


MGTO attended the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Travel Trade Cooperation Summit” in Hong Kong

Co-organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC), the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Travel Trade Cooperation Summit (the “Summit”) was held in Hong Kong today (21th December), with the aim to facilitate cooperation between travel trade within the region in addition to explore on the opportunities for tourism development of the Bay Area. Director of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes attended the Summit in Hong Kong together with travel trade and media from Macao. During the Summit, travel trade of the Bay Area signed a cooperation agreement.


Consumer price index (CPI) for November 2017

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI in November 2017 increased by 1.69% year-on-year to 110.51, higher than the 1.54% growth in October 2017. The increment in November was attributable to rising charges for eating out and outpatient services, higher parking meter rates and tuition fees, as well as dearer prices of adults’ footwear and gasoline.


Three Division Heads of Identification Services Bureau swore in

The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) held the inauguration ceremony for three heads of division on 21 December 2017. Under the witness of heads of department and division, Ms. Van Kit Lam, Ms. Chan Ka I and Ms. Wong Sok Heng took an oath administered by Director Ms. Ao Ieong U to respectively assume the position of Head of Division of Identity Card, Head of Division of Legal Affairs and Public Relations and Head of Division of Service Management,. Three Division Heads have rich knowledge and working experience in their respective professional area, and possess professional ability and competence to take up the relevant position.


HKZM Bridge Macao boundary crossing area ready by year-end

The Government is dedicating all-out effort to realise its goal for completion – before year-end – of the fundamentals of the Macao boundary crossing area of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao (HKZM) Bridge.
