17th Macao City Fringe Festival outreach activities broaden artistic experiences

The 17th Macao City Fringe Festival, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), features a series of outreach activities, including talks, workshops and art critique, in order to broaden the public artistic experience through diversified activities.


17th Macao City Fringe Festival takes “Treasures Hunting” as theme exploring the city’s overlooked values

Art breaks free from performance halls and invades all corners of the city, creating unlimited possibilities. The 17th Macao City Fringe Festival, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is themed “Treasures Hunting” and will be held from 12 to 21 January 2018, featuring a total of 23 wonderful programmes, as well as 10 outreach activities, such as workshops, talks and art critique, among others, leading the public to uncover the city’s treasures and explore overlooked values in the interaction between people.


China Banking Regulatory Commission and the Monetary Authority of Macao sign a Memorandum of Understanding to support Macao’s Development in Featured Finance

The Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) and the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Development of Macao’s Featured Finance” in the afternoon of 5 December to strengthen mutual exchange and cooperation for promoting the development of featured finance in Macao.


Consumer Council conducts price survey on selling prices of fresh pork and vegetables from Zhuhai and Macao

For the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June, Consumer Council collects prices of fresh pork from wet markets and supermarkets on 5 December for consumers’ reference. The mentioned data collected during 29 November to 5 December are used for comparing the average selling price of the same products from Zhuhai. The relevant data has been uploaded to the Council’s website for consumers’ reference.


Chief Executive to visit Beijing for duty visit

The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will be on his duty visit to Beijing from 13 to 16 December.
