Mayors’ Visiting Programme delegation briefed on Macao’s latest achievements

A delegation of the fifth Mayors' Visiting Programme for China's Neighbouring Countries (Mayors' Visiting Programme) attended a seminar on Wednesday (27 March) to exchange views with representatives respectively of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT), the Macao Economic Bureau (DSE), and the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP), to gain a better understanding of Macao’s developments in tourism, tourism training, commerce and trade, e-governance, and cooperation in various areas.



Subscription for the Macao Lunar Year Zodiac Commemorative Coin Collection starting next Monday

The Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) has been issuing the current series of Macao Lunar Commemorative Coins (2008-2019) since 2008. Considering that the last collection of this commemorative coin series has been launched this year, AMCM is issuing specially a limited edition of Macao Lunar Year Zodiac Commemorative Coin Collection (2008 – 2019) for public subscription. The Macao Lunar Year Zodiac Commemorative Coin Collection is comprised of a Lunar Year 1oz silver proof coin issued from 2008 to 2019 and the coin collection comes with an exquisite wooden box that combines display and storage functions. The mintage is limited to 200 sets and the selling price is MOP38,000.00.





3rd Macao Printmaking Triennial extended until May

The “3rd Macao Printmaking Triennial”, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), has gained wide recognition and support from the public since its inauguration. In order to allow more residents and tourists to appreciate experimental and innovative artworks, the exhibitions at Nostalgic House and Exhibitions Gallery of Taipa Houses will be extended until 19 May and at the Tap Seac Gallery until 31 May.



Publicity materials decided for election of members of Chief Executive Election Committee

The President of the Electoral Affairs Commission for the Chief Executive Election, Ms Song Man Lei, said that the Commission had discussed the publicity effort for the 16 June election that will select members of the Chief Executive Election Committee. Resolutions had been made by the Commission regarding the design of publicity posters and video materials.
