“China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Cooperation and Development Fund Promotion Session” to be held on Thursday

The “China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Cooperation and Development Fund Promotion Session” will be held at 10 a.m. on 12 October (Thursday) at Lotus Room, 5th Floor, World Trade Center Macau by the Macao Economic Services (DSE). This is the first promotion session since the official settlement of the China-Portuguese Speaking Countries Cooperation and Development Fund (referred to hereafter as “CPDFund”) in Macao in June this year, aiming to enhance understanding of the Fund among the industrial and commercial sectors in Macao, promote investment and cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries and further implement the series of measures of the Central Government to support the development of Macao.


Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee jointly conducts professional rescue training with FIA

On 7th and 8th October, the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee (MGPOC) jointly conducted professional rescue training with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) at the Macau Grand Prix Building in order to ensure that all rescue team members are trained to the highest internationally-recognized standards of proficiency.


Jao Tsung-I Academy hosts “Affection for Lotus – Exhibition of Painting and Calligraphy for the 100th Birthday of Jao Tsung-I”

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the exhibition “Affection for Lotus – Exhibition of Painting and Calligraphy for the 100th Birthday of Jao Tsung-I” will be inaugurated on Thursday, 12 October, at 3:30pm, at the Jao Tsung-I Academy. All are welcome.


IFT Café holds“Photosynthesis II – Tang Kuok Hou Photography Exhibition”

IFT has the honour to invite the local artist, Tang Kuok Hou, to hold “Photosynthesis II” photography exhibition at IFT Café from 6 October to 31 December 2017, showcasing glamorous night view images of the city of Macao. “Photosynthesis” is one of Tang’s exploration under his observation of the society. It explores the relationship between urban dynamism and artificial light source.


Commemorative postmark cancellation service of “World Post Day – UPU”

Respond to the Universal Postal Union for the celebration of the World Post Day, the Postal Administration achieves various activities relative to this event. Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at our Philatelic Shop of General Post Office and the Communications Museum on 9th October 2017, from 9:00 to 17:30 providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “World Post Day – UPU”.


Government responds to Macao references in U.S. Congress report on China

The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People’s Republic of China expresses its strong opposition to the content relating to Macao contained in a report lately issued by the Congressional-Executive Commission on China of the United States of America.

Top-notch European dance at CCM Monte-Carlo Ballet stages Shakespeare’s dream

The Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, presents Le Songe, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic play A Midsummer Night’s Dream, produced by the renowned Monte-Carlo Ballet. A signature piece choreographed by acclaimed French choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot, the work will be staged in two shows scheduled for November 3 and 4 (Friday and Saturday), at CCM’s Grand Auditorium.


Commemorative envelope of “Brasília 2017”

Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will participate in the “Brasília 2017”, located in Brasilia, Brazil, during 24th to 29th October, 2017. To commemorate this Exhibition, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau issues the commemorative envelope and provides the commemorative postmark cancellation service on site of the exhibition.


Government Headquarters open to public on 21 and 22 October

The Government Headquarters Open Day sessions will this year be held on 21 and 22 October (Saturday and Sunday), during which the Protocol Palace and part of the garden will also be open.
