Registration for handicrafts workshops at the “Tap Siac Craft Market” is now open
Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), the “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 15 to 17 November and from 22 to 24 November at Tap Siac Square, featuring various handicraft workshops. The fee of each handicrafts workshop is MOP50. All interested parties can register for the workshops through the Tap Siac Craft Market website from 28 October until 5 November, at 5pm.

CE to deliver work summary for 2019 and budget proposal for 2020
The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will attend on 12 November a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly, to give a summary on policy implementation work in 2019; and to introduce a budget proposal for 2020.

IPIM Honoured with “Best Marketing-Destination” Award
The Macao Trade and Investment Institute (IPIM) was presented with the “Best Marketing-Destination” Award at the MICE China Forum & Awards Ceremony, held on 18 October. IPIM President Irene Va Kuan Lau received the award. The award follows several other recent accolades for IPIM and Macao, including the “Best Convention & Exhibition Bureau” at the 2018 TTG Travel Awards Ceremony, and the “Best MICE City – Asia” at the “M&C Asia Stella Awards 2019”, held in Singapore in August, which have all helped to raise the city’s international profile in this area.
