Opening of “Bazaar at the Mandarin’s House” was well-received

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and co-organised by the Macau Cultural Resources Association, the “Bazaar at the Mandarin’s House”, was held on 8 and 9 April (Saturday and Sunday), from 12pm to 6pm, at the Mandarin’s House, a world heritage site. The opening ceremony was held on 8 April (Saturday), at 2:50pm, and was officiated by the Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Kent Ieong Chi Kin; the President of the Macau Cultural Resources Association, Cheng Xiang Hu; the Executive Director of the Institute of Chinese Classical Dance Han Tang, Lewis Lei; the Chairman of the Macau Hong Wai Sports and Recreations Association, Mak Chi Leong; and the Orchestra Conductor of the Music Technical Class of Macau Baptist College, Cheong Wai Leong. The bazaar was well-received and participants enjoyed in the activities.

Cultural Affairs Bureau launches Picturesque Beauty of the Landscape – Aerial Photographs of Macao by Chan Hin Io and hosts an aerial video sharing session

The book launch ceremony of Picturesque Beauty of the Landscape - Aerial Photographs of Macao by Chan Hin Ioand aerial video sharing was held on Thursday, 6 April, at 6:30pm, at Jao Tsung-I Academy. The ceremony was officiated by the President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Leung Hio Ming; the Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Chan Peng Fai and the photographer Chan Hin Io, among others.


IFT students help local restaurant to develop new menu

Students taking the Entrepreneurship course at Institute for Tourism Studies(IFT), led by Dr. Fernando Lourenço, assisted Le Bistro Marcellinho, a Macao’s local restaurant located in Taipa, to develop a new take-away menu for the restaurant.


IACM upgrades its dedicated internet access equipment and online services to be interrupted intermittently

The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) will carry out upgrade project on its dedicated internet access equipment from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on 10 April. During that period of time, the following services may be interrupted intermittently:


“HUSH!! Full Music” Concert features diverse activities and magnificent musicians and bands

“HUSH!! Full Music”, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) in cooperation with the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Marine and Water Bureau, will be held from 30 April to 1 May (Sunday and Monday) at Hac Sa Beach. A total of 25 groups of singers and bands from Macao and various Asian regions are invited to present different types of music, namely rock, metal, pop, and electronic music, among others, thereby offering a large-scale music gala for the public. Admission is free.
