The Second Greater Bay Area Conference for Small Animal Veterinarians successfully held to jointly promote development of veterinary clinical care of pets
Representatives of the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) and the Council of Veterinary Medicine Professionals (CPMV) recently participated in “The Second Greater Bay Area Conference for Small Animal Veterinarians” in Guangdong Province, having discussion with the members of the veterinary clinical care sector in the Greater Bay Area on the development momentum, pioneering technologies, matching scientific research results of the pet care sector, with the aim to jointly promote technological innovation, resource sharing and talent cultivation within the sector and standardise high-quality technology and management modality. Besides, 118 veterinary surgeons in Macao have passed review and been issued with the veterinary professional accreditation certificates.

Macao-Hengqin MICE Industry Players Attend the Inaugural “Connect Marketplace Hong Kong” IPIM and Internationally Renowned Exhibition Enterprise Jointly Invite Trade Visitors to Macao
A delegation of nearly 30 MICE industry players from Macao and Hengqin, organised by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), visited Hong Kong from March 19 to 20 to attend the inaugural “Connect Marketplace Hong Kong”, hosted by Informa Markets, an exhibition organiser. IPIM also collaborated with the event organiser to arrange the Macao MICE Environment Experience Tour for over 40 domestic and foreign participants on 21 March, to showcase the strengths of Macao-Hengqin MICE industry, particularly the “Multi-venue Event” pattern. This initiative aimed to tell Macao-Hengqin’s story, expand international MICE clientele and promote the appropriate diversification of Macao’s economy.

Macao International Parade promotes the beauty of cultural integration opening a new chapter of the cultural encounter between East and West
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), SJM Resorts, S.A., Sands China Ltd., MGM, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Wynn Resorts (Macau), S.A. and Melco Resorts & Entertainment, the “2025 Macao International Parade”, celebrating the 26thanniversary of Macao’s Return to the Motherland, set off today (23 March) from the Ruins of St. Paul’s. Upholding the spirit of “Love, Peace and Cultural Integration” while also promoting Macao’s designation as a “Culture City of East Asia 2025”, this year’s Parade featured local groups and participating groups from other cities designated as “Culture Cities of East Asia 2025”, totalling an estimated number of nearly 1,800 artists. The Parade showcased diverse cultural customs of the world, highlighting the charm of Macao as a cultural city and its role as “One base”, creating a vital window for the exchange and mutual understanding of Chinese and Western civilizations through this artistic feast.
