Timeline for the Central Registration for Children Entering Kindergarten for the First Time for the Academic Year 2026/2027 – April Arrangements
The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) reminds parents who have completed the Central Registration for Children Entering Kindergarten for the First Time to take note of the timeline for the release of admission results and the completion of enrolment procedures for the 2026/2027 academic year. For admitted students, parents are required to ‘confirm online first, then complete enrolment procedures at school’. The DSEDJ and schools will release the admission lists on 8 April. Parents may log in to the Macao One Account or access the DSEDJ’s thematic webpage for Central Registration (www.dsedj.gov.mo) using their registered login method to check the admission results and obtain the First-Time Enrolment QR Code. Parents of both admitted students and waitlisted students are advised to take a screenshot of the QR code for future use when completing the enrolment procedures.

Statistics on electronic payment transaction value for February 2026 – restaurants & similar establishments and retail trade
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that, driven by the Chinese New Year holiday, the electronic payment transaction values (hereinafter referred to as transaction values) for restaurants & similar establishments and retail trade in February 2026 increased by 14.7% and 46.4% year-on-year, and by 5.9% and 19.6% month-on-month, respectively.

Joint Promotion of Macao Enterprises in Zhongguancun, Beijing Empowering Tech and Big-Health Industries to Go Global
To promote the development of Macao’s high-tech and big-health industries, and strengthen Macao’s function as an internal and external connection platform for the region, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) of the Macao SAR organised, together with ZGC Group, the “Intelligent Macao: Embarking on Global Journey- Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Biopharmaceutical Industry International Expansion” (the “Conference”) during the ZGC Forum on March 27. IPIM also led a delegation of more than 20 Macao technology and biopharmaceutical entrepreneurs (the “delegation”) to attend. The Conference drew over 130 representatives from companies and institutions in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and elsewhere, including leading firms and specialised, innovative and elite enterprises in high technology and biopharma, demonstrating the co-operation potential of Beijing and Macao in technological innovation sector

CCAC commends students participating in “New Inspirations in Integrity Education from Children” activity
The CCAC, in collaboration with several primary schools in Macao, organised the thematic school activity “New Inspirations in Integrity Education from Children for the School Year 2025/2026”. Integrating integrity education into schools’ STEAM curriculum, this activity encourages students to create computer coding works based on the topic of integrity and inspires them to think about the relevant subjects.
