Effectively Connecting to the “New” Market to Assist Macao Enterprises in Seizing Opportunities

The four-day "Asia Pacific Food Expo 2025" recently concluded successfully in Singapore. The Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) organised Macao enterprises to participate in the expo and set up a Macao Pavilion in collaboration with the Industrial Association of Macau for the second consecutive year. Among the 26 participating enterprises, nine were first-time exhibitors. During the expo, companies engaged in 203 business matching meetings covering food and beverage wholesale, agency, retail, chain supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, and live-streaming shopping. Nearly half of the participating Macao enterprises established procurement collaborations with local Singaporean companies, involving areas such as distribution agency and retail, supermarket channel expansion, online and offline multi-channel connections, and e-commerce selection. The Macao Pavilion was lit by gratifying foot traffic and sales.


2025 Macau International Kart Grand Prix concludes

The 2025 Macau International Kart Grand Prix, organized by the Sports Bureau, the Automobile General Association of Macao-China, OTK Kart Asia and IAME Asia, and sponsored by Sands China Limited, concluded today (December 14) at the Coloane Karting Track, featuring races of the 2025 IAME Asia Final (Cadet, Junior, Senior, Master). Government urges construction sites further to strengthen safety measures under existing guidelines

The Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Mr Tam Vai Man, today said the Government has always attached great importance to construction site safety. Through joint efforts by the Government, industry and the community, all necessary safety measures at construction sites can be properly implemented, he added.




CE to visit Beijing for duty visit

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, will visit Beijing from 15 to 17 December, to report to state leaders on the Government work done past year and on the policy blueprint for 2026.

The 2025 Macau International Kart Grand Prix, organized by the Sports Bureau, the Automobile General Association of Macao-China, OTK Kart Asia and IAME Asia, and sponsored by Sands China Limited, continued today (December 13) at the Coloane Karting Track, featuring races including the Sands Cup and the heats of the 2025 IAME Asia Final (Cadet, Junior, Senior, Master). The results of today’s races are as follows:



Cultural Affairs Bureau participates in the film and television event held in Singapore to promote filming in Macao and industry exchanges

In order to enhance Macao’s visibility and prominence in the international film and television industry, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym) participated in the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) held in Singapore for the first time, and set up a “Macao Pavilion” in the event to promote filming in Macao for its unique characteristics. Moreover, IC organised the participation of local directors in the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF Pro), expanding the collaboration opportunities with international markets for Macao’s film and television professionals.
