The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will set up temporary collection points for large unwanted furniture items in multiple locations across Macao from 1 to 7 November between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The number of collection points this year is increased from the original 60 to 136, with 109 collection points on the Macao Peninsula, 16 in Taipa and 11 in Coloane respectively.

On 25 October, 2025, the “UTM Discovery Day: Exploring Educational Excellence” was successfully held at the Yiu Tung Building on the Taipa campus, the Macao University of Tourism (UTM), attracting over 200 students, parents, and public from Macao and neighboring regions. According to Article 66 of the "Air Navigation Regulation of Macao" approved by Executive Order No. 43/2021, the Civil Aviation Authority will implement an unmanned aircraft no-fly zone on the Macau Peninsula from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on November 2, 2025, to ensure the smooth conduct of the torch relay activity for the 15th National Games (Macau). Violators of the no-fly rule will be fined by the Civil Aviation Authority between MOP 2,000 and MOP20,000.

CTT will launch a new design of Christmas card on 4^th November 2025, which can be purchased at the General Post office and all other post offices, the Philatelic Shop of the General Post Office and the Shop of the Communications Museum for the public to spread the festive joy and warm blessings.

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym) and the Education and Youth Development Bureau, with the support of the Tianhan Foundation of China, the Launch Ceremony of the Commemorative Activities of the 90^th Anniversary of “March of the Volunteers” was held on 28 October at the Macao Cultural Centre, with the aim of promoting the spirit of the national anthem among the public. On the same day, the cultural performance “Melodies of War, Spirit of the Nation” and a series of activities including a lecture themed on the 90^th anniversary of the “March of the Volunteers”, and the photo exhibition “Call for Progress Across Eras: Tian Han and the National Anthem”, was held, aiming to convey the indomitable spirit of the Chinese nation and further inspiring patriotism among young people.

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), the Tap Siac Craft Market will be held from 20 to 23, 27 to 30 November at Tap Siac Square. 63 creative handicraft workshops will be held, including 13 sessions for families. The workshops include ceramics, glass, miniature and leather, integrating fun, creativity and crafts. All interested parties are welcome to participate.

Jointly organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and the Palace Museum, co-organised by the National Museum of Ancient Art, the Orient Foundation and the Ajuda Library, and implemented by the Macao Museum of Art (MAM), the exhibition “Reflections of Maritime Connections: 16^th-19^th Century Sino-Portuguese Cultural Exchange” will be inaugurated on 7 November 2025 at 6:30pm on the 4^th floor of the MAM. Divided into three sections including “Dawn of the Porcelain Road”, “Cultural Exchange in Porcelain” and “Dialogues between Courts”, the exhibition features a selection of 177 precious items/sets from the aforementioned participating institutions, systematically showcasing the profound trade and cultural ties established between China and Portugal through the Maritime Silk Road during the 16^th to 19^th centuries. It also highlights the amicable exchanges between the Qing court and the Portuguese royal family, as well as the important role of Macao as a bridge in the Sino-Portuguese exchanges.

In view of the Chong Yeung Festival, the outpatient services of the Macao Union Medical Center (including all specialist clinics, the Imagiology Centre, radiation therapy, blood drawing and specimen collection services), the Ambulatory Medical Centre, as well as outpatient and physical examination services of the International Medical Centre will be closed on 29 October (Wednesday). However, inpatient and hemodialysis services will operate as usual.

To promote cultural exchange between universities in Macao and the Chinese mainland and to deepen Macao students’ understanding of traditional Chinese culture, Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC) of the University of Macau (UM) organised an exchange trip for its students and faculty to visit Hunan University. During the trip, CYTC members attended the Confucius memorial ceremony to commemorate the 2,576th anniversary of Confucius’ birth.
