UTM and UN Tourism hold Scholarship Presentation Ceremony for co-branded programme

On 27 February, the Macao University of Tourism (UTM) and the UN Tourism jointly held a Scholarship Presentation Ceremony at the Taipa campus. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Antonio López de Ávila, Director of Innovation, Education and Investments at UN Tourism, and Rector Dr. Fanny Vong Chuk Kwan of UTM. The event recognised the first outstanding student to receive a scholarship for the co-branded Master of Science in Digital Marketing and Analytics programme.





Representatives from nearly 40 universities worldwide join UM International Partner Day

To further expand its international cooperation, the University of Macau (UM) held International Partner Day. Over 50 representatives from nearly 40 higher education institutions worldwide attended the event, including the University of Oxford (UK), KU Leuven (Belgium), the University of Barcelona (Spain), Macquarie University (Australia), and the University of Twente (Netherlands). The representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as international cooperation in higher education, joint academic development, and student and faculty exchanges.




Commemorative postmark cancellation service of “China's Arbor Day”

To celebrate the China’s Arbor Day, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at Senado Square, from 10:00 to 13:00 on 12th March 2026 to provide commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “China’s Arbor Day”.


Macao’s composite interest rates – 4th Quarter 2025

According to statistics released today (27 February) by the Monetary Authority of Macao, funding costs for the Macao pataca (MOP) of Macao’s banking sector dropped on a quarterly basis, whereas those for the Hong Kong dollar (HKD) recorded an increase in the fourth quarter of 2025.
