Jointly organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the MGM, and co-organized by the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Marine and Water Bureau, and the Macao Government Tourism Office, the “hush! Beach Concerts x Urban Sports Wellfest 2025” will be held from 18 to 19 October at the Hac Sa Beach and Temporary Green and Leisure Area. The event will feature a multi-stage music marathon on the coast, as well as the outdoor fitness challenges and a dedicated sports zone on the lawn, creating an urban carnival with music and sports on the island.

UM delegation visits several Australian universities to deepen cooperation in multiple areas
To strengthen long-term partnerships between the University of Macau (UM) and Australian universities, UM Vice Rector Rui Martins led a delegation to visit several leading universities in Australia. During the visits, the UM delegation held meetings with representatives of the Australian institutions to discuss potential areas of cooperation, including curriculum design, student exchange, and joint research projects. The UM delegation also presented the latest developments on the UM campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

CCAC investigation finds that a public servant allegedly involved in wage fraud by abusing his sick leave
According to the investigation of the CCAC, it is found that a doctor who worked in the Correctional Services Bureau allegedly colluded with multiple doctors who worked in public or private medical institutions of Macao where the latter issued multiple medical certificates for the former and his parents in order for him to falsely obtain sick leave from his department. Over the years, he defrauded wages with a total amount of nearly MOP150,000. The public servant involved in the case, the relevant relatives and the doctors of the private medical institutions were suspected to have committed the crime of fraud and the crime of document forgery provided for in the Penal Code. The public servant involved in the case and the doctors of the public medical institutions were also suspected to have committed the crime of forgery by a public servant. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecutions Office and notified to the relevant departments.
