Macao Union Medical Center holds Open Day to draw enthusiastic public participation

To enhance Macao residents’ understanding of the Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “Macao Union Medical Center”) and to deepen their knowledge of its operational model and facilities, the Macao Union Medical Center held an Open Day on 20 September, attracting around 200 residents to participate.


Macao Union Medical Center officially opens PUMCH Centennial Exhibition on Culture and Medical Records

The Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “Macao Union Medical Center”) held one of its series of anniversary events on 21 September. The event, titled the “Opening Ceremony of the PUMCH Centennial Exhibition on Culture and Medical Records,” took place at the Cultural Exhibition Hall on the fifth floor of the Administrative Building of Integrated Services. The officiating guests of the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the inauguration of the exhibition were: Wu Wenming, Director of the Macao Union Medical Center; Choi Kin Long, Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, representing the President; Ho Silvestre In Mui, Member of the Strategic Development Committee of the Macao Union Medical Center and Acting Director of the Financial Services Bureau; Chan Weng Wa, Member of the Strategic Development Committee of the Macao Union Medical Center and Deputy Director of the Health Bureau; Lei Chin Ion, Vice President of the Strategic Development Committee of the Macao Union Medical Center and President of the Specialties Council of the Macao Academy of Medicine; Lo Song Man, Chairman of the Executive Committee of TDM; and Lok Po, Director of the Macao Daily News.


MSAR Government response to the Relevant Parts of the U.S. Department of State’s 2025 Investment Climate Statements Concerning Macao

The Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government expresses its strong dissatisfaction and resolute opposition to the unfounded and irresponsible comments on the economic and political developments and the improvement of the electoral system and the “Law on Safeguarding National Security” of Macao, which were carried in the self-styled “2025 Investment Climate Statements” lately issued by the United States (U.S.) Department of State.





【Celebrate World Tourism Day】MGTO organizes Tray Race and welcomes lucky tourist

The UN Tourism has designated 27 September as the World Tourism Day. Carrying on this long-held tradition, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) welcomed the Lucky Tourist at the port of entry, followed by the lively 2025 World Tourism Day Tray Race held in the afternoon to celebrate the World Tourism Day as a global observance together with residents and visitors. The celebrations manifested the city’s vitality as a world centre of tourism and leisure.



Cultural Affairs Bureau presents new dance theatre piece Selfish Selfie in November under the “Commissioning Performing Arts Productions” programme

A selected project of the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s programme “Commissioning Performing Arts Productions 2024-2026”, Selfish Selfie is a dance theatre piece that takes the audience into a realm where AI intersects with dance. Directed by Alexis Kam and produced by the Lam Dance Theatre, the new creation will be staged over five shows from November 14 to 16 (Friday through Sunday) at the Macao Cultural Centre’s Black Box II.
