CE to visit Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, will lead a delegation of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government to visit, from the afternoon of Sunday (27 April) to Monday (28 April), three mainland cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, namely Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen.


35th Macao Arts Festival kicks off with the spectacular performance bringing soul-stirring stories to the magical stage

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the 35th Macao Arts Festival was inaugurated today (25 April) in the lobby of the Macao Cultural Centre, following with the presentation of Life of Pi, a large-scale stage production which has swept major theatrical awards in both the United Kingdom and the United States, inviting the audience to grow and move forward together in the nourishment of arts.


“Culture City of East Asia – Macao, China” Pavilion inaugurated at the Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo

The 13th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo will be held from 25 to 27 April in Halls A, B and C of Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao. As this year highlights the programme of the “Culture City of East Asia – Macao, China”, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has set up the “Culture City of East Asia – Macao, China” Pavilion, with the aim of promoting the city’s urban landscapes and cultural and creative products, and showcasing the charm of Macao as a city featuring the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.


UTM Hosts 2025 Greater Bay Area Tourism Forum at MITE

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM), the relying unit of the “Tourism Education and Training Base for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the coordinating unit of the “Alliance for Developing Macao as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Tourism Education and Training Base”, in partnership with the China Tourism Academy, hosted the 2025 High-level Forum on Greater Bay Area (GBA) Tourism Development on April 25 during the 13th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo, MITE. As a key player in advancing tourism education and regional collaboration, UTM brought together over 150 government representatives, industry experts, academics, and university students to strategise on elevating the GBA’s global appeal as a world-class culture and tourism destination.
